Plant description

A fabulous foxglove with pure white trumpet shaped flowers and a deep purple freckle throat make for a dramatic look. Bred to be compact growing to a height of 60cm. One of the first of the foxgloves to flower in early summer. Multi flower stems will appear after the main flower. (Cut back the main stem after flowering, level with the flowering side shoots). Looks great as an accent plant or in groups of 3 to 5 plants.

Where to Plant

Foxgloves are happiest in part shade to dappled shade and light shade. Moist soil, well drained. Caution all the plant is very toxic if eaten. (As are all foxgloves) Great plant to brighten up shady spots in the garden, ideal for cottage gardens, woodlands and the popular all white flowering borders!

Plant Care

Cut down to the ground after flowering. In early spring apply a well -rotted mulch of organic matter around the base of the plant.
