This plant has dramatic flowers that are sure to impress. This hardy clump-forming perennial displays elegant spikes of hooded, pink-flushed to white flowers and shiny red-purple bracts.
Flowering time is from early to mid summer. The foliage is shiny and deeply cut. This plant requires very little maintenance and will happily be reliable for many years in your perennial border.
Performs full sun or part shade, but can tolerate all shade but may not flower as well. Acanthus is best though in part shade, any good garden soil as long as its well drained. Remove flower stalks after flowering.
Grows upto 3-4 feet with flower stem.
Grown in 2 to 3 ltr pot size. (Good size mature plants)
